Akinori Koto, who is residing in Silicon Valley as a partner of WiL, will speak about the success and failure of start-ups and innvation in East Asia and Europe. Also, Brandon K. Hill, who is CEO of btrax, Inc./ btrax Japan, where srpports creation of innovation from companies in San Francisco, will give us the latest start-up information from his point of view.

Brandon K. Hill is CEO of btrax, Inc. and btrax Japan, after graduating from San Francisco State University, with a bachelors degree in design. Since 2015, Hill has presented in many events and been working as a mentor for "Shido Next Innovator", organized by METI. He supports the business development of San Francisco city and Japan, being an advisor to San Francisco mayor. Last year, he was appointed to mentor of Start-up club at Kyushu University as well.

Akinori Koto stepped into programming career in 2000, after quitting job in general contructer after 9 months, he studied at Kansai University, earning architect degree in 1999. Koto bacame a web producer at Digital Garage, Inc. in 2003, and moved to the U.S. to establish its office in Silicon Valley. In 2010, he stayed in headquqrter of Twetter, which was investment destination of its company, in the U.S. and assisted its business development in Japan. Afterwards, he worked with Intercom and Udemy. To develop open innovation in Japan, he manages innovation workshop for execuives, and project, raising innovator.
