【Exhibition】Van Gogh's Self-Portrait - “Clone Cultural Property”, Merged The Latest Technology and Craftsmanship-

Do you know “self-portrait of Van Gogh” ? Yes, it is an oil painting that is displayed in the Musée d’Orsay in France. It certainly is a famous masterpiece even in textbooks for schools. This time, WARAKU SUMMIT of Myojowaraku 2018 Summer (held on 9/15, 9/16) will hold an exhibition of clonal cultural properties (*) with the cooperation of Tokyo University of Fine Arts COI Base, IKI Inc., and Tokyo University of the Arts. The clone cultural property to be displayed this time will be not only self-portrait of Van Gogh but also famous Ukiyo-e paintings. Please enjoy clone cultural property with your five senses. * Clone cultural property” is an ultra-high-definition restoration work of cultural properties created based on a patent developed by a team led by Masaaki Miyasako Professor Emeritus Tokyo University of Fine Arts.
