"Paradox" needed to succeed in business

Today, AI is applied from business to daily life. With the potential of AI, many from different buisness fields utilize the technology. However, according to the survey to 1400 people conducted by HubSpot, only 37% of them said that thay have used AI tool. It turned out that 63% of the people who said that thay have not used AI before actually have used AI. They didn’t recognize them as AI.

To succeed in business with AI, is it important not to be recognized as AI? This session will provide the information of domestic and international AI , the future AI technology development, and AI as a business potential.

Katsumasa Niki worked with the investment of start-up and foreign tech companies such as Vodafone, Sprint Corporation, Aldebaran Robotics, and Grab Coupang, as he was in charge of investment section in Softbank Group Co from 2005 to 2016. Also, he was elected to investment committee in venture capital, and currently he is director of Mistletoe Venture Partners, and auditor of Nulab, Inc.

Osamu Iizuka is, from Tokyo, currently underway of Medical Science study at Kyushu University, and established Medmain Inc., start-up for medical IT, in Fukuoka last January, and Medmain USA Inc. in the U.S. last May after he worked as a web engineer for a venture business. He won third place for Japan Junior equestrian games in 2006 and 2007.
