The cities, where are in urban areas or have population more than 10 million, are called “Mega city”, and Tokyo is recognisably one of them even in the world.Local cities try to catch up with the Megacity,Tokyo.  In different many ways, local cities are compared with Tokyo, however what should those cities are aiming to? Should all the local cities become like Tokyo?

In this session, we will bring the question, what is the ideal future for Mega local cities, getting close to Tokyo at some points?  We will solve the paradox of whether Mega local cities should mimic Tokyo.

We will have three guests.
Kazuma Ieiri, who is from Fukuoka and a serial entrepreneur, Yoppy, who is a web writer, and Motokazu Terai, who is from Machizu Creative Co., Ltd.  Ieiri has established venture capital called NOW, and invest young people including them living regional areas. How does he see the way of regional development? Yoppy is chief editor of “SPOT” and writing about regional areas.  Terai is CEO of Machizu Creative Co., Ltd., and under the concept of making creative autonomous region, he engage with community development.

Those three guests will show interesting view of regional development.
